Paris Day 5

This morning mum decided she would have a bit of a rest and I set out on my own.  I wanted to go and take a look at the only Quilting Store in Paris, Ines.

The trip wasn't too far from our apartment, only 5 stops away.  I took off on the 5 to Richard-Lenior.  It was a bit of a walk to the store but on the way I passed Eglise Saint-Ambroise.  I didn't end up going in, but it was beautiful to take in.

Two blocks up the road I found Ines

It was a nice store, no modern fabrics for the most part but I did managed to get some keepsakes that I can add to my stash.

I also found a couple of pieces of fabric for a friend that should would like, so picked those up too

Once I had finished a couple of rounds of the store, I started on my way back.  I decided I would take a bus back for a change.  I took a timelapse video of part of the trip

I got off at Gare de l'Est for a change, as it is only a short walk to our apartment from there, and I  found a Marks & Spencer Food store.  Decided to get a packet of my favourite biscuit for our train trip on Sunday.
