I'm finally on my way!

The day has arrived! I am on my way to Amsterdam where I will meet up with Helen and Gwen. I just have to get around 30hours of travel done first.

Here's me at Wellington Airport filling in my departure card.


It has been roughly 20 years since I stepped foot on a Qantas plane, and around 9 years since I flew Emirates to Dubai when we lived in the UK. Like Helen, I am looking forward to trying the A380 although after 14 hours of flying I am sure the novelty will wear off. And that's just the second leg of travel, yikes!

I'll be keeping the blog as up to date as possible, although once we are on the cruise ship next week internet will become patchy.
