The motorhome was delivered to my mother's place last night, and after a restful night's sleep, we kicked off the morning early by packing up the motorhome for our upcoming three-week adventure. By 7:30 am, we had everything sorted and were ready to hit the road, knowing we had a 5-6 hour drive ahead of us.
During our journey, we made a few stops to address rattles and squeaks in the motorhome, but eventually, we arrived in Whitby by 4 pm in the afternoon. For dinner, I had booked us a table at The Magpie Cafe. We opted for an Uber ride to the restaurant, where our table boasted a delightful view across the bay. We indulged in some delicious food—I ordered the fresh seafood taster platter, while Mum went for the mixed fish bits.
We decided to call it an early night, given that I was still feeling the lingering effects of the 42-hour journey from yesterday, coupled with the additional 6+ hours of driving today. A good night's rest was definitely in order to rejuvenate and prepare for the adventures that lay ahead in our motorhome journey.
