Nevis Range

For those of you who are not aware, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland. It can only be climbed the hard way, on foot. Next door is Nevis Range, a ski field. We decided to take the somewhat easier way up via the gondolas. We were very lucky to have a pretty much clear view at the top despite Ben Nevis being clouded in.

Once we arrived at the top we stopped off to have a bite to eat and enjoy the view. Although there were some people around with their skies and snow boards using the higher ski fields, there was no snow for us. Just a nice crisp air. After lunch we decided to head for a short hike to one of the higher points not to far from where the gondola terminates, it only took us 30 minutes return to the top and what a view!!!

Well the day was passing us by and I wanted to make it to Glenfinnan Viaduct before we headed for our hotel for the night, so next stop Glenfinnan.
