Flight of the Conchords
I've recently been watching Season 2 of Flight of the Conchords. In Murray's office, there's a poster saying "New Zealand, like Scotland but further". So true :-) There are mountain passes like the passes in the South Island, there are scenic coastal drives, rural areas with lots of sheep and cattle, and so on. But the castles, and old stone farmhouses and fences, so make it different and rich in character. And where else can you visit Scotch Whiskey distilleries, and eat "locally caught" haggis?
