Not too much of an early start today, seems I am getting into the new timezone now. We had about 3 hours of driving today, and a bit of retail therapy was required.
On the way into Exeter I found a HobbyCraft store. Wish we had these in NZ way better than OZ's Spotlight. Wow the UK has a full range of Cricut products, so jealous, not sure how much room I will have in the suitcase so didn't buy anything today, but will mull over what I want and will fill up any spare space.
From there we stopped in at a M&S to get dinner for tonight and then headed off towards Torquay.
Torquay was beautiful today but very busy and no good parking for our vehicle, but that was ok we enjoyed the sights as we drove through and found a couple of other bays around the coast to stop and take photos, love this photo below of a lovely house full of primrose flowers, the colours were amazing.
After a few stops and a cuppa (the joys of having a motor home just pull up and take a break) we dialed up Dartmouth. Going through some of the narrow roads is always interesting. I was just saying to Mum there better not be anything else big coming through this is pretty tight, when a huge truck, towing a bus, come towards us 😱...oh well, I reversed up and do a 3 point turn into a small side road. I seems to have impressed the truck driver, got loads of thumbs up, smiles and a thanks.

About 10 miles on from there we came down into a beautiful bay and as mum says "I think there's a ferry crossing here", we turned the corner and ended up driving onto a Ferry, not what I expected, but exciting nun the same. 3 mins and £6.50 later we arrived in Dartmouth, love unexpected surprises like that.
