The holiday has begun.
This trip has come along quickly. Mike and I are all packed and for me, as normal, I am leaving our fine city of Wellington a little earlier than him. I was on NZ436 this afternoon for Auckland, beautiful afternoon for a flight, I even went for a window seat to get some video of our take off and landing
This was a 2.50pm this afternoon as we flew up over Wellington city
It was a lovely flight north, great crew. Plane was pretty much full, but it was nice and quick.
We had great views over Auckland on our approach, it really is beautiful up here just under the clouds, it feels almost magical.
I have a few hours in Auckland making use of my Koru at Auckland International airport. Around 7.30 tonight both Mike and I will be taking off on seperate aircrafts, me to Los Angels and him to Auckland. We both meet up in LA for a few hours before going onto London, Heathrow. On arrival we have a 3 hour drive to Mum's in Norwich, should be there late afternoon all going well. I am hoping there will be no snow!!! I don't enjoy driving in the snow much, it makes for a long drive.
So keep an eye out for more posts, hoping to fit in a post from LAX.
