This morning we were up early and heading off in LA's peak traffic to Warner Bros. It didn't take us too long to find the place thanks to my GPS, the Garmin is the best thing I have ever purchased and it is so worth having on a holiday like ours. Anyway we had to be at the tour office by 9.40 so we arrived there around 9am after having to find a pharmacy for Mike, yes he is sick with the flu, not sure what it is but every time we go on holiday he ends up sick one way or another, at least he can't have shingles twice!!!.
We had a quick drink and a bit to eat before the tour, a look around the gift shop, have to say the all the DVD's, including the HDDVD's were all a lot cheaper there than at the stores, we were very suprised. The the tour started with a 10 min video on the history of Warner Bros etc, then we were off in our little shuttle on to the back lot of the studio, we got to hear about all the movies done on and at each building, Spider Man, Annie, Friends, and one of the main sites we got to see what the emergency bay of the ER set
The tour took 2 hours, we got to see so much, it is a much better tour than going to Universal and a lot more interesting. We also go to see the sound stage for "Two and a Half Men" but with the writers strike all production of sitcoms are on hold so didn't get to see anything live unfortunately. They also had a lot of memorabilia from the Harry Potter movies, the whole second floor of there Museum is dedicated to Harry Potter but we were not able to take photos there, but in the transport section they had the flying car.

Great tour by the sounds of it. I suspect that Mike needs a day or two off before he leaves. When tired & possibly stressed you are up for a sicky
