This afternoon Mike and I decided to make our way to Lauriston Castle. The bus ride there only took us around 40 mins with one bus change. The castle and its land sits on the coast not far from Edinburgh airport, and is apart of the Leith coast line. Just a small castle compared to most, and was lived in until the 1920's. And was then donated to Edinburgh.
We arrived a bit late to go in, they have tours during the weekend which we were interested in doing. We will have to go back another time, but decided to have a good look around the grounds while we were there.
The view from the house must be beautiful, it was amazing from the front lawn.
